Sub-processors

The third parties involved in operating the website. The headline: none of them receive your machine's diagnostics, because we never receive them either.

Last updated June 13, 2026

The important part

Your host data never reaches our servers, so it never reaches any sub-processor. The parties below support only the websiteand standard internet delivery — they handle web requests (e.g. the IP and URL of a page load), not your computer’s internals.

Current sub-processors

  • Web hosting / edge. The Site is served from infrastructure we operate (apex-ls-01) behind the Apache web server. Standard server access logs apply to page requests.
  • Let’s Encrypt (ISRG).Issues the Site’s TLS certificate. Certificate issuance involves the domain name only, not user data.
  • DNS / domain registrar. Resolves quietstewardship.com. Sees DNS queries inherent to reaching any website.

What is NOT here

No analytics provider, no advertising network, no CDN that inspects content, no cloud telemetry pipeline, and no data warehouse — because there is no host data to process.

Changes

As the project adds operational features (for example, an account system or a status page), we’ll list any new sub-processors here, with what they do and what data they touch, before relying on them for anything involving personal data.

This document is provided in good faith and modeled on common industry practice. It is not legal advice; QuietStewardship recommends review by qualified counsel before you rely on it. We’ll keep it current as the product evolves.
