1. Acceptance

By accessing quietstewardship.com (the “Site”) or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Site. Your use of the downloadable agent is additionally governed by the Agent Software License and the Acceptable Use policy.

2. The service

QuietStewardship provides a website and a dashboard that connects, in your browser, to a local agent on your own computer to display that computer’s diagnostics and recent activity. We do not receive or store that data.

3. Your responsibilities

• Use the Site and agent only on machines you own or are authorized to monitor.
• Don’t misuse the Site (no attempts to breach, overload, scrape abusively, or interfere with it).
• Comply with applicable laws, including any duty to notify other users of a shared machine.

4. Intellectual property

The Site, its content, and the QuietStewardship name and marks are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms grant you no rights to them except to use the Site as intended. Agent software rights are described in its license.

5. Disclaimers

The Site and service are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. QuietStewardship is an awareness tool, not a security product; it does not detect, prevent, or remediate threats and is not a substitute for security software.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuietStewardship and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Site or service.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QuietStewardship and its contributors from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or service or your violation of these Terms.

8. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. We may suspend or discontinue the Site at any time. You may stop using it at any time.

9. Governing law & contact
